Making Happy QuiltsMieke Duyck is a Belgian quilter who creates works of art that are both modern and classic. She discovered the world of quilts in 1991 and immediately fell in love.
After years of working in a quilt shop, she decided to make quilting her career. Thanks to her fertile imagination, she chooses fabrics and blocks in such a way so as to create quilts that are astoundingly original. Mieke is a master at sewing and machine quilting and gives classes around the world, making her knowledge accessible to everyone.
Mieke has collaborated with some of the biggest designers, including Kaffe Fassett, Marti Mitchell and Brandon Mably.
