As the weeks tick by ever so quickly, and we are about to swing into Autumn, here at the shop we find ourselves as busy as ever getting ready for AQC and counting down the weeks (further details below) On a personal note, our family also has much planning happening with our son's wedding just a couple of weeks away. Please note, on the day of the wedding we will be closing early:
Friday March 17th we will be closing at 1:30pm.
Our hours that day will be 10am to 1:30pm.
AQC - the countdown is on!
The Australasian Quilt Convention (AQC) - After four long years, AQC is back in Melbourne this year. The anticipation and excitement is certainly building! Held at The Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton Gardens and running from Thursday 13th April to Sunday 16th April, be sure to pop by our stand and say Hi.

Pigma Pens Back in a range of sizes and colours these pens are fantastic for tracing embroidery designs (the finer tip) and creating personalised quilt labels. These archival pens are permanent markers and won't bleed or feather when used on fabric.
Bobbin Boxes Handy storage boxes for bobbins - perfect for travelling with a hand project, wind a number of bobbins with a variety of different coloured threads and have them on hand for easy access. Better still, because of the firm fitting foam insert, if you drop the container open the bobbins won't fall out.
