Classes update
Christmas hours Last shop day: Wednesday 22nd December (open 10am – 4pm) Closed between Christmas and New Year – and this year we are taking a slightly longer break Re-opening: Tuesday 11th January, 2022 at 10am
Classes update We had hoped to have some classes scheduled during December, but after much consideration we have decided we will not be holding any classes for the rest of the year. We know this is not what we were hoping for, however while there is so much Covid circulating in the community, we feel the risk is too high. We took into consideration that the classroom is of course part of our home, and just in the last week I have heard of several people who have been notified that they were ‘casual contacts’ within the Blackburn area. Way too close to home! We will review this again in the New Year, and hopefully can re-start classes then.

If you’ve used a quilt ruler, you probably already know the frustration of having it slip as you attempt to cut a straight strip of fabric. Whether you compensate by applying extra force to your quilting ruler, which puts stress on your hands, wrists, elbows, and shoulders, they can still slip. Grip Strips multiply and concentrate the force along the edges of your rulers or templates. Help avoid miscuts and frustration by eliminating ruler slippage.
New Tins We have added to our range of tins and also restocked some of our most popular designs. The deep rectangular tins with the hinged lid (Beatrix Potter, Crafting and Sara Miller Orchard) are the perfect fit for the large spools of Aurifil thread (how cute is the dog!!).

Auricase and Thread Special These Auricases fit 12 large spools of Aurifil Threads. Normally priced at $24.50 for the case and $78 for 4 spools of thread (total $102.50), we're offering them at the very special bundle price of $69.50. We've started you off with a selection of 4 neutral colours, select from either 40wt or 50wt. Then if you'd like to add more threads (only threads we currently have in stock) until your case is full you can do this for $16.50 per spool (normally $19.50 each).
