Re-opening Dates! It's so fabulous to finally be able to welcome you back into our shop! It's been such a long and challenging road for everyone, but at last we seem to be nearly there.
WEDNESDAY 3RD NOVEMBER will be our first day of welcoming walk-in customers back into our shop. Normal shop hours will resume after this, being Tuesday thru Saturday 10am - 4pm
Outside shopping: Weather permitting, we will also have tables set up in our backyard for outdoor trading, with LOTS OF SALE FABRICS and other items for you to look through. By next week, there are no vaccination requirements for outdoor shopping, nor are masks required outdoors, however you may prefer to wear one as maintaining social distancing near tables of fabric is not always possible!
Inside Shopping: Density limits will apply inside the shop, and masks will be required. As our shop is part of our house, for the safety of our staff and also Geoff and I, when you check in with the QR Code we will also require proof that you are FULLY VACCINATED, as we all are, to come into the shop. For anyone that does not meet this criteria, we are happy to serve you outside.
Current hours until we re-open will be: Thursday 28/10 and Friday 29/10 - available for online and phone orders 10am - 4pm, along with contactless click and collect Saturday 30/10, Sunday 31/10, Monday 1/11 and Tuesday 2/11 (Melbourne Cup Day) - CLOSED
Classes: Unfortunately, due to density limits, classes are not able to start again at this stage. We are hopeful that it may be possible to have some groups re-start towards the end of November so we can have a few classes and meet up before the end of the year. We will be in touch prior to any classes starting!
Show Update for 2021 / 2022 There have been numerous postponements and cancellations for the shows that we would usually have a stand for at AQC in Melbourne and the Craft and Quilt Fairs (Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane) since the pandemic began. None of these shows are still scheduled to happen this year. Dates we currently have locked in are: Sydney Craft and Quilt Fair - 30th June to 3rd July, 2022 Melbourne Craft and Quilt Fair - 21st July to 24th July, 2022 The Australasian Quilt Convention (AQC) had been re-scheduled to early December, 2021 at The Melbourne Exhibition Centre, then a couple of weeks ago it was changed to mid-April, 2022 and moved back to the Royal Exhibition Buildings, and then just this week we were advised of the biggest change of all. It has now been moved to the 26th to 29th May, 2022 and is being held in BRISBANE. We are so very disappointed to say that having AQC in Brisbane simply does not work for us, so our next show at this stage won't be until Sydney in the middle of 2022.
