Books

Textiles Transformed
Textile artist Mandy Pattullo shows how to source, refashion and repurpose textiles to create beautiful collages and other unique textile objects. There are ideas for embellishment, stitch and applique as well as tips for transforming material into impressive quilts, bags, books, tablecloths, tapestry panels, wall hangings and much more.
Stitches of Time - Deborah Dorwood
Imagine yourself in a lush landscape where both flora and fauna abound. Birds (Deborah's absolute favourite), deer, floral arrangements, wreath, or pomegranates are featured in her book, using both applique and Broderie Perse. Deborah's love of antique fabrics shines through with her playful use of tradition and colour, meticulously thought out for each quilt.
Quilts from La Gare and Other Mewsings
Margaret Mew is back with a more personal quilt story where her love of fabrics takes centre stage! Learn all about choosing fabrics for your applique backgrounds, for stems, fabrics that blur the edges, print essentials, and how to curate a selection of your personal favourites. Margaret also walks us through her creative space, an adorable cottage, with valuable storage tips.
That’s it for now – thanks for reading to the end!
Until next time
