Woodland Scarf Pattern
For your next stitching project why not try something beautiful AND practical. This gorgeous linen scarf is embroidered with woodland motifs of mushrooms and tiny flowers, but of course you are encouraged to let your imagination take hold and add your own special touches to what will become a special piece of ‘wearable art’.

Instructions for the creation and embellishment of the Woodland Scarf design.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 50cm x 1.8m (24 x 2yds) of lightweight linen
• A selection of fabric to make Suffolk puffs (approx 15cm x 15cm each)
• A mixture of embroidery threads. Lisa used Perle 8 for the tiny flowers and stranded variegated for the grass tuffs underneath each mushroom.
• Vintage lace, trim or bobbles measuring a total of 50cm length for the scarf ends.

A kit is also available which contains muslin, liberty backing, liberty Fat 1/32nds for the mushrooms and lace trim.
