I first made a version of this quilt for my book “Whizz Bang Adventures with Folded Fabric Quilts” as a fun project that uses just 1 folded fabric circle. That first daisy was made in shades of blue and I called it Blue Mountain Daisy after my blog and instagram name. I enjoyed making it so much that I went on to make a Big Pink Daisy, and then a Happy Sunflower. Each version has slight variations with the grass and leaves.
After many, many requests for this design to be a stand alone pattern I made the super colourful Big Happy Daisy. It’s a bright rainbow of happy colours to brighten everyone’s day. Of course you can make your daisy in any colour you like. This pattern has different variations for the leaves, petals and grass, and many more step by step photos than the book version of the quilt so even if you have the book you’ll have extra information in this pattern. It has all the tips and tricks and everything you need to know to make your own super fun Big Happy Daisy or Sunny Sunflower.
